RefuAid works with local partners to support access to employment, education, housing, and healthcare in refugee-hosting communities.
RefuAid’s objective is to work with host communities; governments and non-profit organisations to pursue alternatives to camp-centric policies. Acknowledging that in the onset of a humanitarian crisis, camps are needed to provide critical services but should always be seen as a temporary measure.
RefuAid seeks to empower refugees in the UK by helping to fund the attainment of licences, complete qualifications or training needed for professionals to work in the UK through an interest-free Access Loan, this loan covers the cost of requalification and allows individuals to return to their previous career resulting in improvements in their professional and personal lives in addition to the economic benefit to the economy.
Street UK Services is working with RefuAid to provide the administration of loan agreements, payment processing, and fund management services for their Access Loan programme.
